The frames of more expensive glasses are constructed better and should last longer than cheaper frames. But, as long as you choose carefully with the criteria being sturdy construction, you should be able to find something where you don't have to be advertising someone else's brand.

Always remember to use both hands when taking your glasses off. Pulling them off in a hurry with only one hand bends them out of shape.
