Sorry for the length but a bit of backstory is needed for it to make sense

So this guy and i we're great mates talk heaps etc have a few inside jokes going on.. he's recently started calling me "lil stormcloud" when ever im whiney/have the grumps :p so i've dubbed him "umbrella" as he always has to weather the storm

anywho, i was shopping and saw these cute earrings for like $2 which were a set of lightening bolts, a set of rain drops and a set of umbrellas....

I couldn't pass it up lol even though he doesn't have his ears pierced anyway i gave it too him the other day a bbq when we were both busy with our other friends so i kinda gave it to him then bailed....

I asked him if he liked it via text and he said:

"haha its very sweet and in-jokey, i love it =p now all i need is a piercing!"

So was that just him being polite? or does he actually like it?

I really like him thus the over-reading everything
