Why does it seem like you can drink a glass of pop with ice a lot faster than you can straight from the can?
I can open a can of pop at lunch and end up nursing it all day. However, if I pour it in a glass with ice I can drink it right away, sometimes even needing a 2nd can. Is it the bubbles or the wider mouth on the glass? Any ideas?
Ice dilutes the pop, and the wider opening of the glass allows Carbon dioxide bubbles to exit the liquid faster. Less CO2 = less mouth tingly feeling when drinking.
